Hitsugaya's Kid.
"One night... Just one night, one year ago... One drunken night... And I get left with this..." he casts his hands on a little girl, with big, crystal-blue eyes, and long silver hair. No doubt, this was Hitsugaya's kid... Hitsugaya turns around to see the entire 10th division office ruined... paperwork is strewn across the floor, and Matsumoto, whom was collapsed on the desk from her usual mid-morning sake drink, had scribbles drawn all over her face. "sigh, what am I going to do with you..." he picks up his child and she coos and snuggles closer, in which she yawns and falls fast asleep. He looks upon her and can't help feeling a little remorse for even thinking that this kid was a burden. He puts her in the crib and tucks her in. "No matter," he whispers, and casts a glance at Matsumoto's face, "she already seems to get the idea to poke fun at Matsumoto..." he laughs a bit and sits at his desk, in which he looks upon the week's worth of paperwork he was left with when he took leave for a while. He takes one final look at his daughter. "Have a good nap, Hishirou" and he begins his paper work (Author note: Hishirou translates to 'white sun').
***five years later****
"Daddy!!! Daddy look!" Hitsugaya turns around to see his daughter holding a zanpakto that he doesn't recognize.
"Wha... Where did you get that?!?" He grabs the zanpakto and seems angry with Hishirou, but he is actually worried that she could have hurt someone, or worse- herself!
"I called it out..." She twists her foot on the ground while looking down like she is in trouble. "did I do something wrong?" she looks up and gives Hitsugaya a face of complete innocence. He realizes that she has great potential for being a shiinigami.
"Oh no, you did nothing wrong, just please don't do it again..." She smiles and runs off to play with a butterfly that happened to be fluttering past.
"Eh?... Taichou? What are you doing out here?" Matsumoto comes running towards him.
"M...Matsumoto!" She smothers him in her breasts.
"Your still small! You haven't grown even in fifteen years! Good thing too! Because I can still do this!" She lifts him off the ground and shakes him side to side. He is not amused even the slightest bit.
"Matsumoto... if you value your life... GET OFF ME!!!" She releases him and turns toward Hishirou. He then brushes himself off and turns in the same direction.
"Watching your kid?"
"Yeah... Wait... Why did you even come to get me?"
"Oh yeah! Ichigo, Rukia, and the twins are coming! And Yamamoto wants you to guide them around Sereitei." He looks at her, perplexed.
"Why me?"
"You got it by default... every other captain is busy."
"AND I'M NOT?!?!"
"well, you didn't answer to the Hell's butterfly we sent out..." He jerks back, realizing that the butterfly Hishirou was chasing was the Hell's butterfly. Matsumoto leans over and looks with her head inches away from Hitsugaya's face.
"oh? So that's why you never got it..."
"I'll do it." He goes over to Hishirou and picks her up above his head.
"Whee! Ha ha! Daddy!!!" She spreads her arms out, and He lowers her down. "Again! Again!"
"No... Not again."
"Aww..." she crosses her arms and pouts.
"Well I got something even better..." She perks up and looks eagerly at him.
"Something better? What is it?"

anyway... here the basis for story:
One March evening, Hitsugaya, pulled into a bar by Matsumoto, got really drunk, and aparently did some bad things that he doesn't remember to someone. He left on Matsumoto's shoulders, covered in vomit. He has no memory of what happened. On December 20, a basket arrieves adressed to Hitsugaya. He looks in and finds a note and a blanket. the note says: "Dear Hitsugaya, we are sorry to inform you that ... died in childbirth. there was nothing we could do. this child lived. please take care of her. signed..." he peers under the blanket and sees a little girl that looks almost exactly like him! Matsumoto peers over his shoulder and looks and says "looks like you DID have fun at that bar" But, that was probably not the best time for her to say that... because he freezed her. so read and enjoy!
BTW: at the end i purpously did that to make u wanna read more!

Maybe I didn't get that little fact, cause english is not my mother language, but who's Hishirou's mother by the way?^^
As far as I understood, it's neither Matsumoto nor Hinamori and that makes me curious^^
